First Aid/CPR Classes

Emergency First Aid - Level A CPR and AED 
In this one-day course, students will learn to recognize and provide interventions for life-threatening emergencies until medical aid arrives. Topics include: CPR and choking for adults, shock and unconsciousness, severe bleeding, head & spinal injuries, major medical conditions, and AED training and certification.

Standard First Aid - Level C CPR and AED  
This two-day course covers all the skills in Emergency First Aid plus first aid for other injuries and illnesses including head and spinal injuries, fractures of the upper and lower limbs. This course includes Level C CPR training and certification (Adult, Child, Infant, and 2-rescuer resuscitation) and AED training and certification.


CPR Classes

CPR Level A - AED ONE HALF DAY
In this course, students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult whose heart has stopped or who is choking, and learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke. This course also includes AED certification.

CPR Level B - AED ONE DAY
In this course, students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult, child or infant whose heart has stopped or who is choking, and learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke. This course also includes AED certification.

CPR Level C - AED ONE DAY
In this course, students will learn to activate Emergency Medical Services, provide assistance to an adult, child, or infant whose heart has stopped or who is choking, learn to recognize signs and symptoms of stroke, and learn 2-rescuer CPR. This course also includes AED certification.


Health Care Provider (HCP) CPR ONE DAY
HCP CPR is for individuals who are working or plan to be working in the Health Care field and require the Health Care Provider level of CPR. The course includes all CPR skills plus advanced skills such as artificial respiration and use of bag valve masks and AEDs. Min. age: 16 years.


AED Training AED (Automated External Defibrillation) TWO HOURS
This course is designed to instruct students on the basics of an AED; the types of machines available, how they work and when to use them.


Babysitting Course What Every Babysitter Should Know ONE DAY
This course is intended for youths 11 years of age and older who want to look after infants and young children. Participants will learn basic skills which will prepare them to deal with emergency situations plus general principles of caring for infants and young children.

Minimum age: 11 years Pre-requisite: none Students receive: Student Activity Book and certificate.
